As I look ahead for the month of May, I realize
that we are heading into our final push for the academic school year. We have a
holiday on May20th and will be treated to the Asian heritage assembly at the
end of the month.
In Language
Arts, we will be working on our Soundtrack of my life assignment, where
students choose songs that they relate to, or have a special significance to
their lives. In addition, we will be conducting class debates to work on our
oral communication and research skills. We will be continuing to read Sadia for
our novel study and work on Wordly wise expand our vocabularies.
In History,
we will be examining New France and exploring the Seven years’ war. Students
will be completing a learning cube and writing a test and a quiz.
I hope everyone is going to enjoy Victoria Day
and we only have one more update left.
